Who is behind musicbyskippy?

“Pause. Play. Be Kind. Make A Difference." These are the four pillars of Kansas City-based educator, performer, & producer Luke “Skippy” Harbur. Through public speaking, beatboxing, and other skills he creates thought-provoking experiences for multigenerational audiences, celebrating authenticity and combating social isolation.

He began full-time freelancing in November 2021. As an educator, public speaking topics focus on motivation under stress, managing mental health, and becoming a community builder. As a performer, his project musicbyskippy spans a discography of over 75 original songs. As a producer, his company LSH Productions manages creative projects serving thousands of live arts, literary, and entrepreneurship patrons annually.
